The Boosters
The purpose of the Harlan Community Athletic Booster Club ("HCABC") is to raise and manage funds for our school district’s athletic programs through enlisting memberships, operating Merrill Field concessions, sponsoring a summer golf outing and other various fundraising opportunities.
Average Giving
We average giving-back $50,000-$60,000 annually because of the continued support of our community. It is vital to our club, our students and the school district to have a continued strong membership base in order for HCABC to continue to provide for the needs of the school district.

What we do with funds
With these funds, we provide all of the equipment and uniforms for all of the middle school athletic programs. We provide funding for a significant portion of the costs of equipment and uniforms for the high school. We are also responsible for 50% of the JJ Jensen field rent, ongoing medical supplies, travel expenses, hotel stays for all sports, as well as the reconditioning of the football equipment each year.
